Love (work in progress)

Some believe hate

Outweighs the love

But it is the stronger

Who know how to give love

This world may be filled

With hate and crime

Or could it be

Only what the media tells us?

Stories of love never

Seem to be broadcasted

But I look around and see

Love on every corner, every street

The love between a child and mother

Sister and brother

Human and animal

Earth and all life

If you look closely

You might just see

The world is filled

With love

If only more people would recognize

The power love holds

We could all join together

And defeat this disease named Hate
