Blooming in Forgiveness

Today will be the day
I forgive the pain
caused to me.
You are only human.

And today will be the day
I forgive myself too
because I don’t only
blame you.

This grudge is wearing
me thin–keeping me
victim–that’s not what I am.

But with these forgiveness’s
I’ll be reborn.
Let lotuses bloom in me,
sunflowers no more.
